The event was formerly known as Defense and Security Equipment International.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/world\/starmer-says-uk-will-recognize-palestinian-state-unless-israel-agrees-to-a-gaza-ceasefire\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>READ MORE:<\/strong> Starmer says UK will recognize Palestinian state unless Israel agrees to a Gaza ceasefire<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Israeli Government\u2019s decision to further escalate its military operation in Gaza is wrong,\u201d the British government said in a statement. \u201cAs a result, we can confirm that no Israeli government delegation will be invited to attend DSEI UK 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The decision comes after\u00a0Prime Minister Keir Starmer in July announced plans to recognize a Palestinian state\u00a0unless Israel takes steps to end the crisis in Gaza, agrees to a ceasefire with Hamas and commits to a long-term peace agreement.
