Leeds United and Crystal Palace are reportedly preparing to fight for the signature of attacker Christantus Uche, who is valued at \u00a315.5m by current club Getafe.<\/p>\n

Leeds United<\/strong><\/a> and Crystal Palace<\/strong><\/a> are reportedly set to battle it out for Getafe<\/strong><\/a> attacker Christantus Ugonna Uche<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old has made a productive start for the Spanish side in La Liga this summer, scoring once and bagging one assist across three contests.<\/p>\n

However, it is Uche’s exploits during the 2024-25 term that have earnt him interest from the Premier League, a league in which he could be playing in after the international break.<\/p>\n

The Nigerian scored four goals and provided six assists across 33 La Liga matches last term, whilst also making five appearances in Copa del Rey.<\/p>\n

Since making the switch from lower-league outfit AD Ceuta just 12 months ago, Uche has impressed massively in the top flight.<\/p>\n

Leeds, Crystal Palace to fight for Uche?<\/p>\n

According to reports in Spain via The Leeds Press<\/a>, a newly-promoted side and the FA Cup champions are interested in signing the La Liga star.<\/p>\n

The report claims that Leeds and Crystal Palace are looking to secure the services of Uche before the end of the summer window.<\/p>\n

It is understood that Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/strong><\/a> were in the race for the 22-year-old, although the Black Country is no longer a possible destination for the player.<\/p>\n

As a result, it is believed that Leeds and Palace are left as the suitors for Uche, set to fight it out for the talents of the Nigerian.<\/p>\n

Reluctant to lose one of their brightest attackers on the cheap this summer, Getafe<\/strong><\/a> are supposedly aiming to pocket \u00a315.5m from the sale of the player.<\/p>\n

Where can Uche play?<\/p>\n

Despite his towering frame, Uche has not always played as a central target man since arriving at the base of Getafe last summer.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old is often deployed just behind the striker, possessing the ability to link the play and provide assists for teammates.<\/p>\n

Currently lacking cutting edge in the Premier League, Leeds could benefit massively from the potential summer arrival of Uche in the coming days.<\/p>\n
