With now 653 members and 18 active teams, thriving underage, girls and ladies structures and our men’s team newly promoted this year.

“We have recently secured a second field and look forward to developing ambitious plans to improve our facilities.”

Both seasoned and less experienced golfers took part in Saturday’s tournament, with a range of prizes given out throughout the day.

The main sponsors of the event were Walltech Drylining and Plastering and Corlatt Construction services Ltd. Ronan O’Hare, Lorcan Mussen, Paul Crilly, and Eamon Coulter grabbed the top prizes winning range finders, engraved whiskey glasses, as well as the Jim and Barry Malone Golf Classic Cup.

Special prizes were also handed out to Paul Loughran and Brenda Cranney who won the male and female award for driving the ball the longest.

All those who took part were treated to a barbecue on the 9th hole. And, following the event, O’Hanlon’s Bar in Whitecross hosted the golfers who partied the night away to the music of local group ‘Still Tuning’.

Check out the full gallery below:

Sign Up To Our Newsletter

Most read today

Over two hundred people took part in a golf tournament organised by St. Killian’s GAC Whitecross on Saturday…

[4106
1499,1500,1498,2826,1501,12,79,16,15
0":"post-385968","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-golf","8":"tag-armagh-city","9":"tag-breaking-news","10":"tag-county-armagh","11":"tag-golf","12":"tag-latest-news","13":"tag-news","14":"tag-sports","15":"tag-uk","16":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
