Anyone who\u2019s had a hard time getting into Dominique Crenn<\/a>\u2019s Michelin three star restaurant Atelier Crenn<\/a> in San Francisco or not sampled her dishes in Air France First Class <\/a>has another option to experience this master chef\u2019s creations. It also comes with a scenery advantage: the pastoral stretches of the French countryside floating by. Crenn has been named the first culinary creator for Les Bateaux Belmond,<\/a> creating dishes for the seven small luxury boats traversing the canals in the regions of Champagne, Burgundy and the South of France.<\/p>\n Dominique Crenn cruising aboard Les Bateaux Belmond.<\/p>\n Belmond<\/p>\n \u201cPartnering with Les Bateaux Belmond has allowed me to celebrate France in a deeply personal and thoughtful way,\u201d she explains. \u201cTheir commitment to craftsmanship, culture and timeless hospitality reflects my culinary ethos rooted in storytelling and creating memories. I was drawn to this collaboration not only for the opportunity to design menus inspired by the diverse regions of the area, but to create moments of connection and discovery for guests as they travel with Belmond and fall in love with the flavors, traditions, and spirit of France.\u201d<\/p>\n Dominique Crenn\u2019s Menus<\/p>\n Dominique Crenn’s Asparagus, Caviar, Saffron, Nasturtium Persillade served as a starter.<\/p>\n Belmond<\/p>\n Menus are designed to reflect the region and the season. In the North, menus include dishes such as Spring Pea Tart with Milk Velout\u00e9, Trout Roe and Mint; Tartare of Tomatoes with Almond, Garlic and Miso; Poached Whole Chicken with Fricassee of Vegetables, Mustard and Cream and Lemon and Olive Oil Tart with Tarragon and Pistachio. In the North, the signature, antique filled three bedroom Coquelicot<\/a> sails between Ch\u00e2lons-en-Champagne <\/strong> and Jaulgonne with a special stop at Maison Ruinart<\/a> due to a partnership with the famous champagne house. In Burgundy, the three bedroom Fleur de Lys<\/a> travels from Dijon to Saint-L\u00e9ger-sur-Dheune stopping to explore historic towns, major vintages and architectural sights such as Dijon’s Palace of the Dukes <\/a>and Chateauneuf-en-Auxois<\/a> which partly dates back to the 12th century.<\/p>\n The Hotel Dieu or Hospice de Beaune in Burgundy, one of the sights available on excursions on Les Bateaux Belmond’s Amaryllis.<\/p>\n getty<\/p>\n Also in Burgundy, the four cabin Lilas<\/a> travels between Auxonne and Lyon, stopping to give guests the chance to experience famous vintages, regional culinary specialties at local restaurants and majestic chateaux. The four cabin Amaryllis<\/a> travels the Canal du Centre from St-L\u00e9ger-sur-Dheune to Pontailler-sur-Sa\u00f4ne and the wine intensive Route des Grand Crus. And the boats are available only by exclusive private charter for one\u2019s guests.
