Rob Rinder has revealed that he has a particular concern about his showbiz success and that he lives with a “shadow”. In an episode of the Extraordinary Life Stories podcast, the presenter opened up about his work in entertainment (which includes a show with Rylan Clark<\/a>), detailing how it had been “such a gift” and allowed him to work with “such amazing people”.<\/a><\/p>\n

Rob and Rylan have become two of the nation’s favourite double acts, with their Grand Tour of Italy series even winning a BAFTA. He admitted visiting art galleries for the series had been a highlight, having“never thought” he’d be able to access such spaces when he was little.<\/a><\/p>\n

But because he feels so lucky to enjoy such an experience, Rob is living in fear that his luck could change one day.<\/p>\n

He said: “If I say to you I wanna do this, it feels somehow that I’m lacking the gratitude to acknowledge what I’ve already done, the same time as sharing with you the fact that when good things happen to me.<\/p>\n

“And I’ve had so many good things happen to me, when I’m invited to do something I’ve always wanted to do, and I’ve had so many opportunities to do that, I literally feel that I’m months away from the terminal diagnosis.<\/p>\n

“You know, I live with that shadow, and I think a lot of people do, you know. ‘Don’t say anything because you might bring bad luck down’.”<\/p>\n

It follows reports that Rylan has set the record straight on romance rumours involving him and Rob. Speaking in a recent broadcast of his BBC Radio 2 <\/a>show, he admitted to a “secret” relationship.<\/p>\n

Rylan <\/a>confirmed that he was “seeing someone” and had “kept it a secret for so long”. He also confessed that he was “happy” and “very content” and that it was “lovely” that he was able to keep the relationship <\/a>secret.<\/p>\n

However, when it comes to Rob, Rylan said the rumours simply aren’t true, highlighting what he termed “fake news stories”.<\/p>\n

He said: “Like, so many people keep asking, everyone keeps asking me – because there’s all these fake news stories about me and Rob Rinder – we’ve gotten married and all of this. Rob’s my friend.<\/p>\n

“I adore him, and Rob and Rylan’s just about to come out again, our passage to India, and I just thought, ‘Let’s just put the record straight’.”<\/p>\n

In the latest instalment of their BAFTA-winning series, Rob and Rylan visit India, finding inspiration in Rob’s <\/a>favourite author, E.M. Forster, who penned the 1924 classic A Passage to India.<\/p>\n
