Vitor Pereira<\/a> watched his side move nine points above the relegation zone, putting Wolves in a good position in their fight for survival. <\/p>\n

There\u2019s a good chance the Wolves could name an unchanged XI against West Ham<\/a>, with Pereira finding success against Southampton. <\/p>\n

Three points would give the Old Gold the chance to win in front of a home crowd for the first time in two months. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s not only a win that could make the headlines against the Hammers, as the chance is there for Pereira\u2019s side to make club history. <\/p>\n

On matchday 30 of the season, Wolves could reach 100 goals in the Premier League, for and against combined, which would be the fastest time the milestone has been met since 1985\/86.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been 39 years since a Wolves squad hit the 100-goal tally this quickly, with Pereira\u2019s group currently on 98 goals, 40 scored and 58 conceded. <\/p>\n

Two goals in the game are needed to break the record at the 30-match mark in what has been a season of two halves for the Old Gold. <\/p>\n

The start of the season is why the record is up for grabs, as Wolves conceded a remarkable 40 goals at the time of Gary O\u2019Neil\u2019s sacking in December<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Pereira took charge when the squad sat five points from safety in 19th place, with the primary concern being to stop his inherited team from leaking goals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since the Portuguese coach\u2019s arrival, Wolves have conceded 18 goals, putting O\u2019Neil\u2019s record at the start of the season to shame. <\/p>\n

Had the Englishman not been in charge for as long as he was, perhaps breaking the 100-goal record would be out of the question, with the club history books likely to have a constant reminder of this disappointing campaign. <\/p>\n
