Leeds United drew 0-0 with Newcastle United but all the talk from Sky Sports pundit Stuart Dallas post-match centred around signings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The former Leeds United<\/a> utility man was on punditry duty alongside Newcastle United legend Shay Given and they believe that there are not enough goals in this team.<\/p>\n

The win over Everton came via a late penalty, meaning their only goal in open play was Jayden Bogle\u2019s strike against a Sheffield Wednesday team with an average age of 21 in the League Cup.<\/p>\n

Farke couldn’t be clearer. He feels they need more quality before Monday at 7pm and if they don’t, ‘it will be difficult’ to stay up. #lufc<\/a><\/p>\n

Post-match, Daniel Farke laid bare that Leeds need attacking additions<\/a>. He doubled down on the issue and stated two players are ideal to bolster the forward ranks.<\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t name names but Farke has made clear he wants a versatile creative player<\/a>\u00a0at the least, and since then\u00a0laid out his ideas to the 49ers publicly in needing maybe as many as two more if they are to survive the drop.<\/p>\n

Dallas agreed when speaking to Sky Sports. The Northern Irishman said: \u201cCalvert-Lewin\u2019s obviously come in and he\u2019s not fully fit.\u00a0He needs time to get up to speed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis international break will do him the world of good, because he\u2019ll work hard on his fitness throughout it. But I definitely think they need more.\u00a0I know the club are working tirelessly to bring players in, but it has to be right.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is players there that have quality that can help Leeds.\u00a0But again, I look at the midfield\u00a0\u2014\u00a0they\u2019ve\u00a0lost [Ethan] Ampadu and [Ao] Tanaka as well.\u00a0Do they need to strengthen in midfield now over the next few days?<\/p>\n

\u201cOnly the medical staff will know how long these players are going to be.\u00a0So,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0a big few days for them.\u00a0It\u2019s a\u00a0big few days for every club\u00a0but more so, from my point of view, for Leeds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leeds have signed 10 new players<\/a>\u00a0but they\u2019re still lacking some creativity and firepower at the top of the pitch. The talk of a midfielder is interesting from Dallas, however.<\/p>\n

So far this summer,\u00a0Leeds have spent \u00a3100 million on new players<\/a>, and whilst Leeds have a much more balanced side, they are now utilising a midfield three and there are question marks over whether the current options are of the requisite quality.<\/p>\n

Farke has explained Tanaka and Ampadu\u2019s injuries<\/a> lately, with both thought to be MCL issues and unlikely to keep them out for long, but they cannot afford for either to be out together simultaneously again this season.<\/p>\n

Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach have impressed either side of the Arsenal thumping, but it is not a lot of midfield depth for a team aiming to be playing with three of the four at once.<\/p>\n
