There wasn\u2019t much to shout about for either side at Ibrox as the first Glasgow derby of the season ended in a 0-0 draw.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hardly anyone stood out for Celtic against Rangers<\/a> as Brendan Rodgers\u2019<\/a> side struggled to create chances from the first minute until the last.<\/p>\n

Michel-Ange Balikwisha and Marcelo Saracchi made their debuts<\/a>; however, neither had an impact on the game.<\/p>\n

Celtic are still top of the Scottish Premiership<\/a> table going into the international break, and have still managed to get the last laugh on their neighbours.<\/p>\n

Although it was the first goalless Glasgow derby<\/a> since 2017, Celtic can still walk away knowing they\u2019ve made a strong start to the season.<\/p>\n

The same can\u2019t be said for Russell Martin and Rangers though, who have now made their worst start to a league campaign for 42 years.<\/p>\n

Rangers have drawn all four of their games, while Martin has three wins from 11 games in all competitions.<\/p>\n

It may be frustrating that Rodgers and the Hoops didn\u2019t take full advantage of their woeful start, but it does still emphasise the gulf between the two right now.<\/p>\n

Celtic won\u2019t play like that against Rangers again <\/p>\n

During his post-match interview, Rodgers said his side didn\u2019t play the \u2018Celtic way\u2019<\/a> and he was right.<\/p>\n

Instead of the free-flowing, attacking football we are used to, the Bhoys looked like they were on edge and almost scared to make a mistake.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t imagine that will be happening again any time soon and if the Celtic manager<\/a> and fans have their way, the players will put in a much-improved display.<\/p>\n
