Lucy Beaumont<\/a> seems to be embracing a fresh start following the end of her marriage to fellow comedian Jon Richardson<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 42-year-old comic, who has been enjoying a hugely successful stand-up tour, has now been seen sporting a sparkling diamond ring on her engagement finger.<\/p>\n The sighting took place last Sunday at the Big Feastival in the Cotswolds, where Lucy attended the family-friendly event held on Blur<\/a> bassist Alex James\u2019s Oxfordshire farm.<\/p>\n The comedian was dressed casually in a sleeveless blue-and-white top, ripped jeans and wedge sandals, and was seen mingling with festival-goers and queueing for tacos. However, it was the glittering three-diamond gold band on her hand that really drew attention.<\/p>\n It marks the first time Lucy has been publicly photographed wearing the ring, in pictures obtained by the Mail,<\/a> and fans have been quick to connect the dots between the comedian’s new piece of jewellery and her personal life.<\/p>\n The mother-of-one has been linked to sound engineer Martin Wallace, 44, since she was first spotted with him in October last year. The pair were seen leaving the Lowry Theatre in Manchester together, and pictured later that same month walking out of the Royal Hall in Harrogate.<\/p>\n Wallace, who is based in Stockport and has worked alongside big names such as Dara \u00d3 Briain and Rob Beckett, even collaborated with Lucy’s ex-husband on his 2014 Nidiot tour.<\/p>\n While Lucy has not confirmed the identity of her new partner, she has been open about moving forward with her life in her new sketches.<\/p>\n During a recent performance, she joked to fans that her increasing bouts of anger had led her to seek medical advice as she wondered if she had started menopause.<\/p>\n She recalled how the doctor reassured her, saying: \u201cOh no you are alright, you have a bit longer to go yet.\u201d<\/p>\n In April 2024, Lucy and Jon issued a joint statement confirming the end of their nine-year marriage. They said: \u201cAfter nine years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated. We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple, who share an eight-year-old daughter, asked for privacy and stressed that their only focus was protecting her wellbeing.<\/p>\n The split came as a shock to fans, as the pair had built their careers as comedians together ever since tying the knot.<\/p>\n Their hit show Meet the Richardsons, which was a semi-scripted mockumentary featuring the duo as exaggerated versions of themselves, ran for five seasons and brought them into viewers\u2019 homes as a comedy double act.<\/p>\n While their on-screen spats were exaggerated for laughs, Lucy has often admitted that many viewers mistook them for reality.<\/p>\n Despite the upheaval in her personal life, Lucy has thrown herself into her career with renewed energy. Her current stand-up show has sold out venues across the country, leading to an extended run through the end of the year.<\/p>\n She is also set to appear in the highly anticipated first BBC<\/a> series of The Celebrity Traitors.
