Speculation about a possible reconciliation<\/a> between Prince Harry<\/a> and the Royal Family<\/a> has been rife since senior aides to both the Duke of Sussex and King Charles <\/a>were seen at a meeting in London.<\/p>\n Many have wondered what event could bring Harry back into the fold<\/a>, with some pointing to the upcoming WellChild Awards, which coincide with the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II<\/a>‘s death.<\/p>\n Others have suggested that the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death<\/a> might spark a dialogue between Harry and William.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Prince William to play big role in \u2018delicate\u2019 Prince Harry reconciliation meeting<\/a>READ MORE: Prince Harry set to meet King Charles for first time in 20 months \u2013 but William rules out reconciliation<\/a><\/p>\n However, according to royal commentator Jennie Bond, there’s one potential project that could derail any chance of a royal reunion between the feuding brothers.<\/p>\n With Harry and Meghan’s recent Netflix deal, speculation is mounting tha Harry may be planning a revealing documentary about his late mother, potentially set for release in 2027, marking 30 years since Princess Diana’s tragic death.<\/p>\n Former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond told the Mirror that such a project would only exacerbate the already strained relationship between Harry and William – and she does not think Harry would be interested in doing such a documentary anyway.<\/p>\n Bond said: “I’m sure Netflix are hoping that Harry will come up with an idea for a new Royal documentary, and the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death would be an obvious choice.”<\/p>\n She added: “Harry and William cooperated with two very well received films marking the 20th anniversary of their mother’s death. Afterwards, William said the films were the final word on Diana, as he said ‘We won’t be doing this again, we won’t speak as openly or publicly about her again’.”<\/p>\n Harry is scheduled to meet with King Charles<\/p>\n Bond said: “He shared that agonizing loss with his brother. They were in shock together, they grieved together, they walked side by side behind her coffin. A solo film by Harry would simply underline the bitter feud with his brother and would antagonize the rest of the family.”<\/p>\n Despite the wave of speculation surrounding the potential documentary, which remains unconfirmed by Netflix or Harry, Bond doubts the project will ever come to fruition, considering Harry’s recent signals about wanting to reconcile with his family.<\/p>\n She said: “I suspect these reports are just rumours and wishful thinking by Netflix. I doubt whether Harry would really want to commercialise his mother’s life and death.”<\/p>\n Despite the shared grief of their mother’s death anniversary, the current state of their relationship makes it unlikely for the princes to communicate, opined Bond.<\/p>\n Bond said: “August 31 will forever be a day of intense sadness for William and Harry,” she stated.<\/p>\n She added: “I don’t think they will be sharing their thoughts or their feelings with each other.
