This follows an extraordinary summer where the UK endured four heatwaves, leading to hosepipe bans and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/met-office\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">drought warnings<\/a> in certain areas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">As we enter September, Brits in specific regions can look forward to warm weather, including coastal spots known for their charming seaside towns that attract crowds over the summer. The Met Office reports this summer will \u201calmost certainly\u201d be the UK\u2019s warmest on record as the mean average temperature for the season stood at 16.13C, based on data up to August 28.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">If this season is confirmed as setting a new high for average temperature, it will mean all of the UK\u2019s top five warmest summers will have occurred since the year 2000. The top five are currently 2018 (15.76C), 2006 (15.75C), 2003 (15.74C), 2022 (15.71C) and 1976 (15.70C)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Surrounding counties will also enjoy a brief resurgence of summer with temperatures exceeding 20C before the typical autumn chill sets in, causing some areas to drop as low as 3C, reports <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/weather\/2102592\/hot-weather-maps-25C-heat-England\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Daily Express.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">According to the latest WXCharts weather maps, the English counties set to experience temperatures between 23C and 25C include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"UnorderedList_unordered-list__gzblI\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"unordered-list\">\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Norfolk<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Suffolk<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Cambridgeshire<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Lincolnshire<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Kent<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Greater London<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Surrey<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Berkshire<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Hertfordshire<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Buckinghamshire<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Bedfordshire<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Northamptonshire<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Leicestershire<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Rutland<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Nottinghamshire<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">East Riding of Yorkshire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">In contrast, Wales, Northern Ireland and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/scotland\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Scotland<\/a> will face much cooler temperatures. The <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/met-office\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Met Office<\/a> has forecasted changeable weather throughout the beginning and middle of September, with the possibility of sunny spells as well as heavy rain across various parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">As we head into the month, low pressure is set to take over, bringing with it some rather grim weather. &#8220;Some heavy rain or showers are expected in places, most often in the west,&#8221; warns the forecast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;Thunderstorms and hail are also possible, as are some spells of strong winds if any deep areas of low pressure form in the vicinity of the UK.
