Following reports that Freddy Brazier is soon going to enter fatherhood <\/a>after his ex-girlfriend has fallen pregnant, a source has revealed Jeff\u2019s reaction to becoming a grandfather and how he has been in close contact with Freddy since the news broke.<\/p>\n

The brief romance between Freddy, 20, and the child\u2019s mother is believed to have ended on difficult terms, but Freddy is said to be receiving full support from Jeff, a parenting coach and This Morning<\/a> regular, as well as other close family and friends.<\/p>\n

While Freddy is now spending more time at home with his father and his wife Kate in Essex, a close source revealed to The Daily Mail<\/a> that they hope the news of fatherhood on the horizon helps him \u2018get his act together and grow up\u2019.<\/p>\n

The source said: \u201cFreddy says he wants to get his own place but he isn\u2019t working, and doesn\u2019t have access to money left by his mum until he\u2019s in his mid-20s, so until then he\u2019d have to find a way of paying his own rent.<\/p>\n

“His modelling career hasn\u2019t taken off in the way he had hoped it would, and he hasn\u2019t done any TV work in a while but now he is going to have to do something if he is going to be a dad soon.<\/p>\n

They said: \u201cHe has been in close contact with Jeff ever since, and has been taking his advice. It came as a shock to Freddy that he is going to be a dad, and he needed some help navigating it. Jeff has been amazing and is helping him so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is also reported that Jeff is keen to meet the girl’s family so they can \u2018deal with this together\u2019, as Freddie is also hoping to do a DNA test to confirm that the child is his before he gets further involved.<\/p>\n

Freddy and his older brother Bobby, 22, were raised by Jeff from a young age after their mum Jade passed away from cervical cancer in 2009. The brothers have gone in different directions as they have grown up, with Bobby going on to act in EastEnders<\/a> and Freddy turning to drugs.<\/p>\n

In a snippet from his new podcast, which is due to launch this week, Freddy said: \u201cI\u2019ve been smoking since I was 12, I\u2019ve been to rehab, I\u2019ve been sectioned, I\u2019ve had manic episodes. There\u2019s been a real journey and it\u2019s been a tough one\u201d.<\/p>\n

In June, Freddy said he planned to go to rehab and that he wanted to be clean in order to repair relationships within his family. He said previously: “I want to be happy and be in a healthy relationship and have a healthy relationship with my Nana and my father.”<\/p>\n
