Birmingham<\/a> City target Hyun-jun Yang is waiting in Glasgow to seal a move to St. Andrew\u2019s with a \u00a33m+ deal in place, as per Anthony Joseph<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Birmingham<\/a> City have had one of the Championship\u2019s highest profile summer transfer windows. BCFC have spent big on some notable players<\/a>, and with deadline day upon us, they\u2019re not done yet.<\/p>\n

The Blues still want a left-back and another attacker as we head into the final stages of the window<\/a>, while fringe players could move on from St. Andrew\u2019s too.<\/p>\n

Among the players recently linked with a move to the Second City has been Celtic\u2019s South Korean forward Hyun-jun Yang, and Sky Sports\u2019 Anthony Joseph<\/a> has issued a new update on the saga.<\/p>\n

Writing on X, Joseph has said that Yang is just waiting on Celtic to give him the green light to travel down to complete his move to Birmingham<\/a> City.<\/p>\n

A move worth \u00a33m plus add-ons is in place to take him to BCFC, all that is required now is the green light for him to make the switch. Then, the relevant medical and contractual formalities can be ironed out and the move can be completed ahead of the 7pm deadline day cut off.<\/p>\n

Another versatile forward at Birmingham<\/a> City?<\/p>\n

Birmingham<\/a> City boss Chris Davies will pride himself on the flexibility and versatility he boasts within his attacking ranks, and Yang would certainly add to that.<\/p>\n

Though primarily a winger, he has been used centrally as a striker before too. He specialises on the right but can operate on the left as well, cutting in onto his stronger foot.<\/p>\n

With a new attacker in Yang and a left-back signing wanted, it could be a busy deadline day for Birmingham<\/a> City. That is especially given the case given some of the players who could benefit from exits too.<\/p>\n

It has been reported that Derby County<\/a> will try to strike a permanent deal with BCFC for the transfer of loan man Dion Sanderson.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Davies has confirmed<\/a> that the likes of Alfie Chang and George Hall will be allowed to find opportunities elsewhere.<\/p>\n
