The royals are closing out summer with a brand-new recap and it\u2019s filled with heartwarming moments and inspiring causes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Kensington Palace has just dropped its \u201cAugust Rewind\u201d on Instagram stories, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the family\u2019s latest projects and appearances.<\/p>\n
While July was all about family fun complete with adorable snaps of Princess Charlotte and Prince George\u2019s birthday celebrations August shifted the spotlight toward philanthropy, sports, and national pride.<\/p>\n
The reel opened with Homewards, the Royal Foundation\u2019s ambitious five-year initiative to tackle homelessness across the U.K. On August 6, followers got a first look at Homewards: Reframed, an emotional art exhibition hosted at London\u2019s Saatchi Gallery.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Designed to challenge perceptions, the showcase featured powerful works by artists with lived experiences of homelessness.<\/p>\n
In the \u201cAugust Rewind,\u201d clips of the exhibition highlighted the striking pieces on display, alongside candid interviews with the creators who spoke about the personal stories woven into their art.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Palace described the event as \u201cCreated to change the perception of homelessness through art,\u201d underscoring the initiative\u2019s mission to spark empathy and awareness.<\/p>\n
Between charitable spotlights, Olympic celebrations, and a surprise guest appearance, August proved that the royal calendar was just as impactful as it was eventful.<\/p>\n
On August 11, the palace shared a celebratory video for Team GB\u2019s Olympic athletes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The clip opened with none other than Snoop Dogg before cutting to a warm message from the Prince and Princess of Wales.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Kate beamed as she said, \u201cFrom all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB.\u201d William then chimed in with, \u201cWell done on all you\u2019ve achieved. You\u2019ve been an inspiration to us all.\u201d<\/p>\n
But while the message was uplifting, it wasn\u2019t the words that grabbed headlines, it was William\u2019s beard.\u00a0<\/p>\n
