Germany overwhelms opponent doubling the score for the first time in over 50 years and showcasing championship-caliber firepower<\/p>\n

Germany dismantled Great Britain 120\u201357 in a EuroBasket group stage clash, producing one of the most dominant performances in the tournament\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

The Germans became the first team since 1971 to double the opponent\u2019s score at a EuroBasket, when the Soviet Union beat Spain 118\u201358. Their 120 points mark the highest-scoring game by a single team in EuroBasket since 1995, when Russia dropped 126 on Finland.<\/p>\n

The margin of victory was just as historic: +63 is the largest by any team since 1969, when Yugoslavia crushed Sweden 115\u201343.<\/p>\n

This game also places Germany in the company of the most lopsided wins ever recorded in the competition. While the all-time records remain safe \u2014 including the Soviet Union\u2019s 118\u201314 demolition of Denmark in 1953, Belgium\u2019s 114\u201311 over Albania in 1947, and Lithuania\u2019s 112\u20139 win against Finland in 1939 \u2014 Germany\u2019s display firmly joins the list of memorable blowouts in EuroBasket history.<\/p>\n

For Great Britain, it was a long night from start to finish, while Germany showcased the depth, firepower, and ruthless efficiency that could make them one of the main contenders for the title.<\/p>\n
