West Ham are close to landing a deadline day deal ahead of Crystal Palace.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Eagles are in desperate need of defensive reinforcements as Marc Guehi<\/a> looks destined to leave Selhurst Park in a move to Liverpool.<\/p>\n

That sentiment has been echoed at the London Stadium<\/a> as the Hammers also remain eager to sign a centre-back before the window slams shut.<\/p>\n

This comes as Nayef Aguerd looks set to leave and join Marseille for \u00a319.9million<\/a> in the final hours before the 7pm deadline on 1 September.<\/p>\n

With that being said, Graham Potter<\/a> looks set to land a target ahead of Palace, landing a dagger blow to Oliver Glasner<\/a> and Co. in the process.<\/p>\n
