\n Babul’s has announced it will be sponsoring Barnard Castle Golf Club, which it calls ‘one of the town’s most popular sporting venues’.\n<\/p>\n
\n The collaboration aims to support the club’s growth and encourage golfers of all ages and abilities.\n<\/p>\n
\n Shuhel Ahmed, managing director of Babul’s – which has locations in Barnard Castle and Darlington –\u00a0said: “Babul\u2019s has always been about community, and sport plays such a huge role in bringing people together.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Supporting Barnard Castle Golf Club is our way of helping to keep the town active and social, with a little Babul\u2019s flavour along the way.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Simon Elliott, commercial director at Barnard Castle Golf Club, said: “We choose our partners carefully, working with like-minded brands that have really positive local reputations.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Babul\u2019s is a premium brand, and we are delighted to have them on board at our club.”\n<\/p>\n

\n This sponsorship forms part of Babul’s wider mission to ‘promote active, social lifestyles and create opportunities for people to connect’, the restaurant said.\n<\/p>\n
\n It also builds on Babul’s existing support of local sport, with sponsorships of Darlington FC Women’s Team, local boxer Hannah Robinson, and weightlifter Rachel Steedman.\n<\/p>\n
