The presenter said she had had a \u201clovely summer\u201d with \u201clots of beach action, family, friends, kids\u201d and \u201cice creams as big as your head\u201d during the break from ITV\u2019s This Morning.<\/p>\n

She told co-host Ben Shepherd she was \u201creally excited to come back to work\u201d after the summer break.<\/p>\n

Deeley and Kielty released a joint statement in July, revealing they had separated after more than a decade of marriage.<\/p>\n

They wed in September 2012 at a ceremony in Rome and have two children together, Milo (9) and James (7).<\/p>\n

“We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved,\u201d they said. <\/p>\n

“We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected.<\/p>\n

“There will be no further comment.”<\/p>\n

Kielty, from Dundrum, Co Down, took over as host of The Late Late Show from Ryan Tubridy in 2023.<\/p>\n

Deeley has presented ITV\u2019s This Morning alongside Ben Shephard since early last year.<\/p>\n

She hosted the US series So You Think You Can Dance, also appearing on SM:TV Live with TV duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly from 1998 to 2002.<\/p>\n

She also previously co-hosted the BBC singing contest Fame Academy and it was while presenting the show, back in 2002, that she met and struck up a friendship with comedian Kielty.<\/p>\n

The comedian and presenter began his stand-up career as host of Northern Ireland\u2019s first comedy club, The Empire Laughs Back, in Belfast.<\/p>\n

He went on to host programmes such as Channel 4\u2019s Last Chance Lottery and BBC One chat show Patrick Kielty Almost Live.<\/p>\n

He also presented the documentary My Dad, The Peace Deal And Me, about his father\u2019s death at the hands of paramilitary gunmen.<\/p>\n
