Bristol Rovers have confirmed their third signing of deadline day and 13th of the summer window, bringing in 19-year-old forward Freddie Issaka on loan from Plymouth Argyle.<\/p>\n

The Truro-born attacker has played three times for Plymouth so far this season, making a total of 39 senior appearances for the club since joining from Truro City in 2021. This will be his first loan spell.<\/p>\n

19 of those appearances came in the Championship last season which saw the teenager score one goal.<\/p>\n

Head Coach Darrell Clarke said to club media: \u201cFreddie is a talented and brave attacker who has already performed well in the Championship and League One despite his youthful age.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis progress in recent seasons with Plymouth has been impressive and we\u2019re happy to welcome him to Rovers as he continues his development.\u201d<\/p>\n

Director of football Ricky Martin added: \u201cFreddie has electric pace to burn and a fearless ability to take on opponents one-v-one.<\/p>\n
