Robin Wright<\/a> has ‘finally’ found her ‘person’ but she’ll never marry again because it’s ‘just unnecessary.’<\/p>\n

The House Of Cards<\/a> star, 59, has moved to the UK to set up home with architect Henry Smith, 52.<\/p>\n

And she has admitted she’s smitten with new new man since meeting him in a pub several years ago but she has no plans to walk down the aisle again after three previous failed marriages.<\/p>\n

She told The Times newspaper<\/a>: ‘He is a sweetheart and just a good, decent adult. He’s a man… That’s exactly what I wanted.’<\/p>\n

The ex-wife of Sean Penn<\/a> then said: ‘I’m turning 60 and I’m, like: “Is this it?” I love being alone and I’ve done that many times. But I’m, like, I want to grow old with somebody, and travel and see the world…<\/p>\n

Like several American celebrities, Robin Wright decided to move to England a few years ago where she met her British-born Australian boyfriend, Henry Smith (pictured June 17)<\/p>\n

‘It’s liberating to be done. Be done with searching, looking and getting 60 per cent of what you wanted.’<\/p>\n

However, when asked if she will marry again, Robin said: ‘No. God no. Why? That’s just unnecessary.’<\/p>\n

Robin was previously married to Dane Witherspoon, Penn – the father of her two children Dylan and Hopper – and Clement Giraudet while she was also engaged to Ben Foster twice but they never made it down the aisle.<\/a><\/p>\n

The actress insisted she has now settled down for good, adding of Henry: ‘I’m seen and loved for who I am. It’s so relaxing.’<\/p>\n

She has now been living with Henry in Britain for the last few years and they are currently planning to move to a new home by the coast.<\/p>\n

The actress admits she’s loving life in the UK because it’s so different to America and she’s loving the peace and ‘quiet’ as well as the slower pace of life.<\/p>\n

She explained: ‘America is a s***show… I love being in this country [the UK]. There’s a freedom of self here. People are so kind. They’re living.<\/p>\n

‘They’re not in the car in traffic, panicked on a phone call, eating a sandwich. That’s most of America. Everything’s rush, competition and speed…<\/p>\n

Robin filed for divorce from her third husband – Saint Laurent VIP relations manager Cl\u00e9ment Giraudet – in 2022 after nearly four years of marriage (pictured in 2017)<\/p>\n

‘[In Los Angeles] everyone’s building a huge house and I’m just done with all that – I love the quiet.’<\/p>\n

In a same interview, Robin talked about how she struggled parenting with Penn as he was away for work a lot and was much of a tougher figure in their lives.<\/p>\n

She told The Sunday Times<\/a>: ‘He was gone so much of the time. He’d come back and be the policeman and then he’d leave me with the residue.<\/p>\n

‘Then I would soften the blow. We were both extremes.\u00a0They didn’t get that grey area in the middle, which is stern, and that is what they needed.’<\/p>\n

Over the years, Hopper has been candid about the struggles he’s faced in his personal life including his addiction to crystal meth and how his father helped him out of it.<\/p>\n

The actress and Sean, who divorced in 2010, share kids Dylan Frances Penn, 34, and Hopper Jack Penn, 32 (L-R: Dylan, Robin, Hopper)<\/p>\n

Speaking to ES Magazine, Hopper previously said: ‘I was doing a lot of stuff but meth was the main one that brought me down. I went to rehab because I woke up in hospital and my dad said, ‘Rehab? Or bus bench?’ I was like, ‘I’ll take the bed.’<\/p>\n

‘Thank God I got out of that because that was the worst time in my life. Because it’s not fun when it gets to a point where you just need it.’<\/p>\n

Dylan has worked as a model and an actress following in her parents’ footsteps.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple met on the set of State of Grace in 1990 and had an on-off relationship before marrying in 1996.<\/p>\n

When their relationship became front page news they moved to a small town near San Francisco where Robin stepped back from acting to focus on motherhood.<\/p>\n

As much as she still believes this was the right decision, she said she would have done some things differently in how she raised her children.<\/p>\n

She added to the publication:\u00a0‘I have a huge regret as a mother and have experienced the fallout of this regret for many years with my kids – I wasn’t hard enough on them.’<\/p>\n
