Kate Waterhouse and her legendary horse trainer mother Gai Waterhouse, dressed to impress as they attended the Everest Carnival Launch in\u00a0Sydney<\/a>\u00a0on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The 40-year-old racing royalty\u00a0ensured all eyes were on her as she arrived at the event in a strappy blue dress which featured a gold detail at the front.<\/p>\n

Kate completed her look with matching gold earrings and tied her long blonde locks back into a ponytail.<\/p>\n

Her mother Gai looked elegant in a cream-coloured suit jacket and matching pants as she sat alongside her daughter in a horse carriage.<\/p>\n

The 70-year-old added a pop of colour by opting to carry a light purple designer bag and wrapped a coloured scarf around her neck.<\/p>\n

They were all smiles as they posed in the carriage with former Married At First Sight star Duncan James and his friend Tim Brimmer.<\/p>\n

Duncan and James both looked dapper as in navy suits, buttoned shirts and a tie.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, model Laura\u00a0Dundovic<\/a>\u00a0, 37, looked glamorous as she arrived to the Royal Randwick Racecourse in a strapless red dress which showed off her clinched waist.<\/p>\n

The former Miss Universe Australia accessorised the dress, which featured a dramatic design on the top, with a matching coloured\u00a0fascinator and red stilettos.<\/p>\n

She was also joined by influencer Saskia Wotton, who put on a stunning display in an elegant light pink frock.<\/p>\n

She completed the look with a net fascinator, a straw clutch and a pair of pink heels.<\/p>\n

Saskia is no stranger to the world of fashion, having founded her very own label, Muma World, with Dave Frim.<\/p>\n

Also in attendance was\u00a0Channel Seven star Mel McLaughlin, who showed off her trim pins in a mini blazer dress.<\/p>\n

The sports presenter, 45, finished her look with beige heels and left her long, curled brunette locks out.\u00a0<\/p>\n
