You\u2019ve played at Anfield twice, you\u2019ve scored at Anfield twice. How was it playing there as an opponent?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Very difficult. I\u2019ve had a little bit of success there but not as a team, I think we lost both games. It\u2019s a very difficult place to come to and to win, which I\u2019ve felt. The atmosphere is something extraordinary. I\u2019m excited to be a part of that.<\/p>\n

You have had some success against Liverpool as a player. What was it like facing Liverpool as an opponent, coming up against the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and the others? What kind of challenge was that?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oh, it\u2019s very challenging, of course. We\u2019re talking about some of the best defenders in the world. So, it\u2019s a big challenge. But personally, I love those types of challenges, I love to come up against the best and test myself. I always loved playing against Liverpool and I\u2019m hoping it\u2019s going to be better playing for Liverpool.<\/p>\n

To play at Anfield now in the red as a Liverpool player, how exciting is that prospect?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s so exciting. I think it\u2019s something difficult to put into words, I think you have to experience it and then explain. I think we all know what Liverpool is about, the fans and what they\u2019re about as well. So, yeah, looking forward to getting to experience that.<\/p>\n

You said earlier you felt by coming here you could improve as a player but what qualities do you want to add to this team?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everything. I think I have a lot to give, I think I have a lot to improve. I\u2019m a striker but I always want to give as much as possible to the team, mainly goals but much more than that as well. So yeah, everything.<\/p>\n

How much are you looking forward to joining an attack that includes the likes of Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz? You\u2019ll get some chances in that team\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yeah, I\u2019m looking forward to that. You\u2019re mentioning some world-class players there \u2013 they\u2019ve done well when I\u2019ve played on the other side and it\u2019s going to be nice to be on the same team.
