Hit West End musical Moulin Rouge!<\/a><\/strong>, based on Baz Luhrmann\u2019s award-winning film, has announced new West End casting.<\/p>\n

Moulin Rouge! The Musical is now playing at London\u2019s Piccadilly Theatre<\/strong> until 21 February 2026.<\/p>\n

From 13 October 2025, Moulin Rouge! will star Karis Anderson<\/strong><\/a> (Tina \u2013 The Tina Turner Musical<\/a>) <\/strong>as Satine, the dazzling star of the Moulin Rouge nightclub, with Alistair Brammer<\/a><\/strong> (Miss Saigon<\/a>) as lovesick American writer Christian.<\/p>\n

Karis Anderson is currently starring in hit West End show Tina \u2013 The Tina Turner Musical<\/a><\/strong>, which closes at the Aldwych Theatre on 13 September 2025.<\/p>\n

In May Moulin Rouge! celebrated an important milestone, welcoming its 10 millionth visitor worldwide<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Moulin Rouge! The Musical is set in Paris in 1899, in a world of indulgent beauty and unparalleled extravagance, of bohemians and aristocrats, of boulevardiers and reprobates.<\/p>\n

The current West End cast, who finish in the West End on 11 October 2025, features Natalie Kassanga<\/a><\/strong> as Satine, Dom Simpson<\/a><\/strong> as Christian, Craig Ryder<\/strong> as Harold Zidler, Dex Lee<\/strong> as Toulouse-Lautrec, Ben Richards<\/a><\/strong> as The Duke, Ivan De Freitas<\/strong> as Santiago, Charlotte Gooch<\/strong> as Nini, Hannah Jay-Allan<\/strong> and Helen K Wint<\/strong> who alternate the role of Arabia, Matteo Johnson<\/strong> as Baby Doll, Bernadette Bangura<\/strong> as La Chocolat, and Angela Marie Hurst<\/strong> as Alternate Satine.<\/p>\n

The full cast is completed by Oliver Adam-Reynolds, Takaiyah Bailey, Erin Bell, Emily Bolland, Ross Chisari, Athena Collins, James Davies-Williams, Katie Deacon, Serenar Douch, Rola Elliott, Myles Hart, Grace Hawksworth, Maiya Hikasa, Melvin LeBlanc, Tom Mather, Kira McPherson, Paul Mukembo, Dean Read, Ben Rutter, Gavin Ryan, Mark Samaras, Jamie Shields, Catrin Thomas, Lindsey Tierney, Alex Tranter, Matt Trevorrow, Kevin Tristan, Ben Whitnall, and Sasha Woodward.<\/p>\n

Dom Simpson announced back in May that he is leaving<\/a> the show on 11 October 2025.<\/p>\n

Based on the movie by Baz Luhrmann, Moulin Rouge! is directed by Alex Timbers<\/strong>, and has a book by John Logan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The show is choreographed by Sonya Tayeh, with music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Justin Levine, set design by Derek McLane, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by Justin Townsend, sound design by Peter Hylenski, wig and hair design by David Brian Brown, make-up design by Sarah Cimino, and music production by Matt Stine.<\/p>\n

A new Moulin Rouge! The Musical tour<\/a> is also currently playing in the UK.<\/p>\n
