Leeds United fans have made their feelings clear on social media after deadline day came and went, without any new faces arriving at the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was clear that Leeds United<\/a> needed some more players bringing in before the summer transfer slammed shut at 7pm on Monday evening.<\/p>\n

And the manager made that clear, too, with Daniel Farke<\/a> saying after Leeds\u2019 game against Newcastle United<\/a> that he wanted more attacking signings on deadline day.<\/p>\n

But despite links to a number of players, and a late Leeds United push to sign Harry Wilson from Fulham<\/a>, no new faces arrived at Elland Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Attackers were the main focus for the Whites. Leeds United had a loan bid rejected for Wilson<\/a> before then trying to put together a permanent deal in the final hours, and Leeds United had a loan bid for Buendia rejected<\/a> by Aston Villa as well.<\/p>\n

Sheffield United\u2019s Gustavo Hamer was also strongly linked with Leeds<\/a> on deadline day, but the midfield maestro remains at Bramall Lane for the time being.<\/p>\n

Whilst Farke will get some flak from fans after a poor finish to the summer transfer window, many accept that the buck ultimately stops with the owners<\/a>, and with chairman Paraag Marathe<\/a> who so often speaks about ambitions, but who maybe let Farke down in the final weeks of the summer window.<\/p>\n

One angry Leeds United fan posted online: \u201cI\u2019m not the biggest fan of Farke, I think he has flaws in management. But he\u2019s not been dealt a fair hand again! He asked for attacking additions for weeks! 49ers failed.\u201d<\/p>\n

A similar post read: \u201cDon\u2019t rate Daniel Farke as a manager at all. But it\u2019s hard to believe we\u2019ve given him the best chance of keeping us in the division. It\u2019s going to take a serious amount of luck and things to go our way to get close.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, this supporter weighed in with: \u201cNot only have we not signed anyone on deadline day, our \u2018star signing\u2019 in [Noah] Okafor now has a whole load of weight on his shoulders to perform. This isn\u2019t Farke\u2019s doing, this is the owners, every penny they said, every penny.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other comments read: \u201cIt appears our American owners can talk the talk, but can\u2019t walk the walk!\u201d as well as this Leeds United fan joking: \u201cHats off to the owners though. We\u2019ve ended the window with more goalies than strikers\u201d<\/p>\n

Leeds United now have a break from Premier League action before returning away at Fulham on September 13th.<\/p>\n
