{"id":391827,"date":"2025-09-02T11:57:13","date_gmt":"2025-09-02T11:57:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/391827\/"},"modified":"2025-09-02T11:57:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T11:57:13","slug":"german-hospitality-sector-revenues-fall-in-disappointing-summer-survey-finds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/391827\/","title":{"rendered":"German hospitality sector revenues fall in disappointing summer, survey finds"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">BERLIN (Reuters) -Germany&#8217;s hospitality industry saw revenues fall by 9.3% in July, according to an industry survey published on Tuesday, offering little respite for companies worried about rising costs for labour as well as food and drink.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">Hopes for a summer boost were not met, the DEHOGA industry association said on Tuesday, citing the results of its poll of almost 4,000 businesses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">For the months of August and September, 32% of them rated their booking and reservation situation as poor to very poor, versus 23.8% who found it good or very good.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1090901\">&#8220;Costs are skyrocketing, guests are more price-sensitive, and sales are declining.
