\n Activities at the Battle of Britain Bunker Exhibition and Visitor Centre will range from a dedicated Speaker Series\u00a0 of historical talks and\u00a0themed\u00a0tours to a performance by the RAF Northolt Central Band,\u00a0a\u00a0wreath-laying\u00a0ceremony\u00a0and a\u00a0new\u00a0pop-up exhibition.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n On Friday, September 12,\u00a0the exhibition will launch at a special Museum Late event \u2013 a rare opportunity to visit the centre \u2018after hours\u2019\u00a0and see\u00a0the\u00a0collection,\u00a0which includes\u00a0objects on public display for the first time.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n Across that\u00a0weekend,\u00a0there is\u00a0a packed programme for families and history-lovers.\n<\/p>\n
\n There are\u00a0Pipsqueaks story sessions for young children,\u00a0a\u00a0Battle of Britain Experience tour with actors helping\u00a0to\u00a0tell\u00a0the story,\u00a0an\u00a0inter-active performance from Freshwater Theatre,\u00a0while the bunker\u2019s Generator House will open to the public for\u00a0the second time.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n On Monday, September 15, visitors are invited to pay their respects during a wreath-laying ceremony at the bunker\u2019s memorial\u00a0from 11am.\n<\/p>\n
\n On Thursday, September 25, the\u00a0Ensemble of the Central Band will\u00a0perform a free concert, but booking is essential.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
