Jadon Sancho was not congratulated by a single Manchester United team-mate following his move to Aston Villa.<\/p>\n
The United winger left Old Trafford<\/a> for a third loan spell on transfer deadline day<\/a>, signing for Unai Emery’s team until the end of the 205\/26 campaign.<\/p>\n Sancho, 25, is out of contract at United in the summer with the club not planning to extend his current terms.<\/p>\n The ex-Dortmund star has already returned to Germany and spent time with Chelsea<\/a> since his high-profile move to United back in 2021.<\/p>\n Taking to Instagram to celebrate his newest venture, Sancho collaborated with Aston Villa’s page and the Premier League<\/a> to announce his move to Villa Park.<\/p>\n But not one current United player could be seen in the comments of the post, nor was any visible to have used the like feature either.<\/p>\n Sancho is known to be close to former Villa loanee Marcus Rashford and is said to have spoken to the Three Lions star about his time in the Midlands.<\/p>\n Emery will look to get a tune out of Sancho much as Enzo Maresca did last term at Stamford Bridge, with the winger registering 14 goal contributions from 42 games.<\/p>\n He also scored in the 4-1 win over Real Betis to help the Blues win the UEFA Conference League.<\/p>\n Speaking to Villa’s club media on Monday, Sancho was excited for his new challenge and believes more success is only right around the corner, with Europa League<\/a> football to come this term.<\/p>\n \u201cAs a player and especially as a team, we have to be achieving big things,\u201d he said. \u201cWe have to be looking towards that, and hopefully I can help the team to achieve some of those goals.<\/p>\n \u201cThe team comes first, so whenever the manager needs me I\u2019ll be ready.\u201d<\/p>\n Here at The Manchester Evening News, we are dedicated to bringing you the best Manchester United<\/a> coverage and analysis.<\/p>\n Make sure you don’t miss out on the latest United news by joining our free WhatsApp group.
