Junior Firpo absolutely loves Leeds United, despite leaving the club this summer to re-join Real Betis in Spain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following a four-year stay at Elland Road,\u00a0Real Betis always seemed like Firpo\u2019s next move<\/a>\u00a0after leaving\u00a0Leeds United<\/a>. Even if, at one stage, it was said Firpo was in talks with Leeds<\/a>\u00a0over a new deal at Elland Road.<\/p>\n

Leeds had to find a Firpo alternative<\/a> and landed on Gabriel Gudmundsson and James Justin to bolster their defensive ranks in the full-back areas. It was a shame to lose Firpo but there were issues.<\/p>\n

Among wage concerns, Graham Smyth expected Firpo\u2019s contract length to be an issue<\/a>. It was then said that Firpo\u2019s agents said remaining at Leeds was \u2018unlikely\u2019<\/a>. Betis then made their move ahead of other interested clubs.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s fair to say that a number of players were blown away by the scenes in the city centre during the afternoon of the parade. <\/p>\n

During a particularly raucous part of livestream, Firpo can just about be heard saying: \u201cThis is incredible.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook at this. I\u2019ve never seen something like that. I won a title with Barcelona.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love you. I love you all. You are the best fans in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, Leeds will remain a permanent part of his body forever, and Leeds fans will love the gesture.<\/p>\n
