The \u201cMarvel Zombies<\/strong>\u201d are taking a bite out of Disney+ this Halloween, and the brand-new trailer and poster have unveiled the hordes of zombified superheroes and villains clashing in the new series.<\/p>\n

The four-episode series will premiere on Disney+ on\u00a0September 24, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2021,\u00a0Disney+\u00a0series\u00a0\u201cWhat If\u2026?\u201d teased the horror\u00a0possibilities from Marvel Studios with the introduction of \u201cMarvel Zombies\u201d in a one-off episode that turned our favorite superheroes into the undead. Now they\u2019re getting their own animated series,\u00a0based on the comic run of the same name\u00a0that sees an alternate universe\u00a0where various heroes get infected.<\/p>\n

In the series, \u201cAfter the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an end to the super-powered undead, racing across a dystopian landscape and risking life and limb to save their world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Featuring the voices of Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Tessa Thompson, Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Hailee Steinfeld, Wyatt Russell, Randall Park, Iman Vellani<\/strong>, and Dominique Thorne<\/strong>, among others, \u201cMarvel Zombies\u201d is created by Bryan Andrews<\/strong> and Zeb Wells<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The series is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D\u2019Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, Bryan Andrews, and Zeb Wells, and is produced by Danielle Costa and Carrie Wassenaar.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The aforementioned episode of the \u201cWhat If\u2026?\u201d animated series\u00a0ended on a bit of a cliffhanger\u00a0that saw the small group of survivors\u00a0heading to Wakanda to regroup, unaware that a zombified Thanos with an Infinity Gauntlet had already decimated the area.\u00a0The upcoming \u201cMarvel Zombies\u201d spinoff series is said to be \u201cpretty intense\u201d and \u201cfor sure a TV-MA show.\u201d<\/p>\n
