A vigil was held earlier on Tuesday for Fawziyah Javed who died on 2 September 2021. <\/p>\n

Ms Javed who was pregnant at the time, was murdered by her husband. She was pushed from Arthur\u2019s Seat, and although severely injured she was able to tell passers by what had happened before she died. <\/p>\n

The memorial bench was placed on Arthur\u2019s Seat by campaigning organisation Karma Nirvana which works to bring an end to forced marriages, violence and murders such as these. <\/p>\n

On their website<\/a> today the charity published a Memory Box video, saying that Fawziyah\u2019s story will drive lasting change.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
