Last season, he scored 17 goals for Wolves and averaged 3.33 shots per game.

This is a signing that should help shift some of the responsibility away from Bruno Fernandes, especially in the final third.

Diego Leon(£3.3m with potential add-ons rising to £7m)

Signing grade: C

After arriving from Cerro Porteno in Paraguay, Diego Leon is one for the future and not someone who is going to make an instant impact at United.

The 18-year-old left-back secured a pre-agreement with United in January, so he completed his move this summer before featuring in several pre-season friendlies.

Leon will provide back-up for Patrick Dorgu, and we noticed over the summer that the South American likes to get forward.

Furthermore, Leon is a unit, full of pace and strength. It will be intriguing to see how many games he plays this season.

Bryan Mbeumo (£65m plus £6m in potential add-ons)

Signing grade: A+

Like Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo arrives at United after already making a name for himself in the Premier League. The Cameroon international has been Brentford’s best player since Ivan Toney departed for Saudi Arabia at the beginning of 2024.

In 136 Premier League appearances for Brentford, Mbeumo managed 72 goal contributions, and he has yet to reach his peak.

Mbeumo gives United a different outlet in attack as he likes to use his pace to get in behind the opponent’s defence.

United have a new star on their hands.

Benjamin Sesko (£66.3m plus £7.4m in potential add-ons)

Signing grade: B

Arriving from the Bundesliga, there is bound to be a settling-in period for Benjamin Sesko.

United finally have a striker who can convert crosses, but the wing-backs will need to improve their crossing throughout the season.

Sesko will take the Premier League by storm but it may take a little time for the Slovenian to familiarise himself with his new teammates.

If Sesko can score 20+ goals this season, we may be forced to reevaluate this rating at the end of the season.

Senne Lammens (£18.2m plus £3.4m in potential add-ons)

Signing grade: C+

Senne Lammens is taking a major step forward by joining United from Royal Antwerp.

The Belgian has yet to represent the national team at the senior level, but he will gain a lot of experience at United this season.

That is because Amorim is likely to throw the 23-year-old in at the deep end, given the United head coach can’t trust either Andre Onana or Altay Bayindir.

The jury is out, but United have done their homework on this signing. Few goalkeepers recorded impressive numbers like Lammens last season.

Lammens will make mistakes, but at least United have a goalkeeper for the long-term future who should be an improvement on Onana at the very least.

Hopefully, the young Belgian can grow at United like David de Gea many years ago.

Grading every Manchester United summer signing, including Benjamin Sesko and Senne Lammens It’s time to assess Manchester United’s…

[8813
5758,748,37199,4112,393,4884,2465,235,67364,16,15
0":"post-392986","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-manchester","8":"tag-benjamin-sesko","9":"tag-britain","10":"tag-bryan-mbeumo","11":"tag-diego-leon","12":"tag-england","13":"tag-great-britain","14":"tag-manchester","15":"tag-matheus-cunha","16":"tag-senne-lammens","17":"tag-uk","18":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
