Check out the latest scores and overall leaderboard below&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>How it works<\/p>\n<ul class=\"flex flex-col gap-px-24 list-inside [&amp;_li]:list-disc\">\n<li class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">Our five-judge panel assess each driver after every Grand Prix and score them out of 10 according to their performance across the weekend \u2013 taking machinery out of the equation<\/li>\n<li class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">Our experts\u2019 scores are then averaged out to produce a race score \u2013 with those scores then tallied up across the season on our overall Power Rankings Leaderboard (at the bottom of the page)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\"><a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/drivers\/isack-hadjar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hadjar<\/a> kicked off his rookie F1 season in painful circumstances with a formation lap spin at the Australian Grand Prix, but since then the French youngster has starred with <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/teams\/racing-bulls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Racing Bulls<\/a>. He reached new heights at Zandvoort via a stunning run to fourth in Qualifying, defending that position brilliantly before taking advantage of Norris\u2019 retirement to score a maiden podium.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\"><a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/drivers\/oscar-piastri\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Piastri<\/a> trailed <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/teams\/mclaren\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">McLaren<\/a> team mate Norris during practice around the Dutch dunes but delivered when it matter to bag pole position in Qualifying. He expertly controlled proceedings in the race to earn a ninth career victory, tying manager manager <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/latest\/tags\/mark-webber.2xgCaKmbl9VAeJINeKJJUN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mark Webber<\/a>\u2019s career total, while completing the first \u2018Grand Slam\u2019 \u2013 pole, win, fastest lap and every lap led \u2013 for a McLaren driver since <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/information\/drivers-hall-of-fame-mika-hakkinen.7ptiWW1foQkbFQSp2boc9d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mika Hakkinen<\/a> at the 1998 Monaco Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">Heading into the weekend, <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/drivers\/max-verstappen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Max Verstappen<\/a> knew it would be a challenge to add to the Zandvoort wins he achieved in 2021, 2022 and 2023, given McLaren\u2019s level of performance this season. It proved to be the case, despite an inspired Qualifying effort that saw him set the fastest middle sector split. He was running a strong third to Piastri and Norris on an off-set strategy when the latter hit trouble and retired \u2013 giving the Dutchman a bonus P2 result.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\"><a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/drivers\/lando-norris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Norris<\/a> looked like the man to beat at the start of the event, having confidently topped FP1, FP2 and FP3. However, it was team mate Piastri who grabbed pole by 0.012s in another ultra-close Qualifying session, before Norris lost further ground at the start when Verstappen slipped ahead. The Briton fought back well to reclaim second and then put some pressure on Piastri, only for <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/video\/2025-dutch-grand-prix-heartbreak-for-norris-who-retires-from-p2-with-seven-laps-to-go.1841982664922288425\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">his hopes to go up in smoke<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">Having started his weekend inside the top five in practice, <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/drivers\/alexander-albon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Albon<\/a> was understandably frustrated with a Q2 elimination in Qualifying \u2013 the <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/teams\/williams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Williams<\/a> driver\u2019s final run not going to plan. However, he came back fighting on an overcast and drizzly race day, making up five positions at the start, capitalising on incidents and Safety Cars and ultimately coming away with a P5 result.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\"><a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/drivers\/oliver-bearman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bearman<\/a> was another disappointed driver after Qualifying, having dropped out in Q1 in 19th \u2013 ahead of only the sidelined Lance Stroll. He was then shifted to the pit lane for the start due to taking on a host of new power unit elements pre-race. From there, the only way was forward, and the <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/teams\/haas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Haas<\/a> rookie calmly navigated the aforementioned drama to follow Albon home in a fine sixth place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">After keeping up his run of qualifying inside the top-six places at every round apart from Monaco so far this season, <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/drivers\/george-russell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Russell<\/a> experienced an eventful race day at Zandvoort. A tricky start for the <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/teams\/mercedes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mercedes<\/a>  man was followed by a collision with Ferrari rival Charles Leclerc \u2013 the subsequent damage costing him around a second a lap. While he took <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/latest\/article\/russell-taking-zero-satisfaction-from-lucky-fourth-place-in-dutch-grand-prix.4F19pKemSXFwRYTmnAuqMp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201czero satisfaction\u201d<\/a> from his afternoon at the wheel, fourth still represented a solid return.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">A downbeat Leclerc had labelled Ferrari\u2019s Friday in the Netherlands their worst of the season, adding that the team needed a \u201cmiracle\u201d to turn the situation around. The Monegasque found a way into the top six in Qualifying, though, and was looking lively in the race \u2013 underlined by <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/video\/2025-dutch-grand-prix-leclerc-muscles-his-way-past-russell-with-gritty-move-for-p5.1841981152863610625\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">that aggressive move on Russell<\/a> \u2013 to challenge for a solid haul of points. However, a second clash <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/video\/2025-dutch-grand-prix-leclerc-crashes-out-after-antonelli-spins-the-ferrari-into-the-wall.1841986441442161254\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">with the other Silver Arrow of Kimi Antonelli<\/a>, following an extra pit stop that he had questioned, ended his day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">Across a tough season for <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/teams\/alpine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alpine<\/a>, <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/drivers\/pierre-gasly\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pierre Gasly<\/a> has managed to pull some impressive results out of the bag and give the team something to shout about. The Frenchman \u2013 having qualified 14th \u2013 came close to doing so again at Zandvoort, but the call to maintain track position under the final Safety Car backfired and left him exposed to rivals who had pitted for fresh rubber. \u201cSometimes these things work out, sometimes they do not,\u201d as he put it afterwards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\"><a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/drivers\/fernando-alonso\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fernando Alonso<\/a> and <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/teams\/aston-martin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aston Martin<\/a> caught the eye when they split the McLarens of Norris and Piastri during second practice, raising hopes of a podium push. It did not quite work out that way, with Alonso getting overhauled by quicker cars in Qualifying and team mate Stroll finding the wall. On race day, despite frustrations over the timing of his pit stops and losing time in traffic, Alonso managed to top up his points tally in eighth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">Like Bearman, <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/drivers\/esteban-ocon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Esteban Ocon<\/a> fell at the first Qualifying hurdle after a mistake on his final Q1 run, giving Haas plenty to do in the race.
