Manchester United<\/a> have received a transfer update on Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze.<\/p>\n

Recent reports from The Sun<\/a> have claimed that United are optimistic of winning the race to sign Eze at the end of the season. The England international is said to be valued at around \u00a350million.<\/p>\n

The Manchester Evening News understands that United intend to sign a goalkeeper and striker this summer<\/a> in what is shaping up to be a drastic transfer window at Old Trafford<\/a>. Reds boss Ruben Amorim<\/a> may also want another attacker, with Marcus Rashford <\/a>and Jadon Sancho currently out on loan and facing uncertain futures at M16. Alejandro Garnacho has also been linked with a move away<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And Eze may fit the bill for Amorim’s faltering side, which desperately needs better attackers. The Reds have played almost as many games in the Premier League<\/a> this season (33) as they have goals scored (38).<\/p>\n

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has now provided the latest on Eze’s future in his latest newsletter for GiveMeSport<\/a>. Romano claims that Eze’s future at Selhurst Park is up in the air, with Tottenham Hotspur also linked.<\/p>\n

“Yes it\u2019s a possibility,” he said. “But nothing has been decided yet, in terms of clubs or negotiations. The situation will be one to assess in the summer.”<\/p>\n

The former Arsenal youth player has scored seven goals and provided 11 assists for Palace across all competitions this season. Speaking in September last year on what the future holds for him, he said: “I’m so focused on just being the best player I can be, whatever interest comes, or whatever happens.<\/p>\n

“I want to enjoy my football where I am right now. The things that I can control, that’s it.<\/p>\n

“I’m really, really invested in becoming the best player I can be. Whether that leads me to another club, or to whatever, I’m at peace with that – and I try to stay there (at peace) as well.”<\/p>\n
