Fly-tippers are continuously targeted a secluding rural area of Clady to dump large bulky items \u2013 much to the annoynace of local representatives. <\/p>\n

Sinn F\u00e9in Councillor Br\u00f3na Haughey is one of those who has hit out at ongoing incidents of illegal dumping at Dead Man\u2019s Hill in Clady, describing the behaviour as a \u201ccomplete disregard\u201d for the local community and environment.<\/p>\n

The latest incident saw a large oven unscrupulously dumped at the roadside.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a valued part of our local landscape, not a dumping ground,\u201d she said. \u201cThose who illegally discard waste here are showing complete disregard for our community and environment.\u201d<\/p>\n

She confirmed the issue has been reported to the relevant authorities and pledged to continue working alongside police to clamp down on the problem.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur environment belongs to all of us. I urge anyone with information to come forward and help put an end to this activity,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

\u201cSinn F\u00e9in remains committed to working with all to protect our local areas for the benefit of current and future generations.\u201d<\/p>\n
