This is the scene on Great Junction Street this morning where there are reports of a man having died. <\/p>\n

There are delays on Bonnington Road as Great Junction Street has been closed to Lothian Buses and other traffic<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: \u201cAn investigation is under way following the death of a man in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

\u201cAround 2.10am on Tuesday, 2 September, 2025, police received a report a man had been injured on Great Junction Street at Bonnington Road, Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

\u201cEmergency services attended, however the 22-year-old man died at the scene. His family has been informed. A postmortem examination will be carried out and the death is being treated as suspicious.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe area remains closed as enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n
