Prince Harry<\/a> is said to have been dealt a “huge blow” with the announcement a top staff member at a company he founded is set to stand down in a matter of months. Sally Davey, the chief executive <\/a> at the Duke of Sussex’s eco-minded firm Travelyst, has handed in her notice, having served five years in the job.<\/p>\n

Harry, 40, launched Travelyst in 2019 in an effort to find ways of making tourism kinder on the environment, but the departure of Ms Davey comes just months after the company’s chairman left their role too after only a year-and-a-half in the role. And last summer Josh Kettler, Harry’s chief of staff, quit his position at the firm after just three months. A source told the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden<\/a> that the loss of Ms Davey was a “huge blow to Travelyst” and that she had been “crucial in its development”.<\/p>\n

In her leaving statement, Ms Davey said of Prince Harry<\/a>: “I will always be grateful for your support, including as my confidant and guide during this personal decision to step back. I’m proud of what we’ve built together. And while I’ll be stepping down as CEO, I remain as committed as ever to Travalyst’s mission.”<\/p>\n
