The partnership comes amid significant controversy over Nucleus\u2019s technology, which claims to help parents select embryos based on traits including appearance, intelligence, and complex health conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Nucleus Embryo uses polygenic scores to evaluate embryos for traits like height, hair color, and predicted IQ levels. <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/06\/06\/genetics-testing-startup-nucleus-genomics-criticized-for-its-embryo-product-makes-me-so-nauseous\/\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to TechCrunch<\/a>, the technology has drawn substantial criticism since its launch, with a company tweet receiving over 4 million views and hundreds of critical comments.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genome.gov\/Health\/Genomics-and-Medicine\/Polygenic-risk-scores\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Human Genome Research Institute<\/a> states that \u201cpolygenic risk scores are not yet routinely used by health professionals because there are no guidelines for practice and researchers are still improving how these scores are generated.\u201d This differs from established genetic testing for specific conditions like BRCA1 mutations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe heard from thousands of parents following the launch of Nucleus Embryo,\u201d said Kian Sadeghi, Founder and CEO of Nucleus Genomics. \u201cBeverly Hills Fertility saw this incredible need to meet parents where they\u2019re at and we\u2019re honored to partner with a clinic so committed to advancing reproductive care.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The partnership establishes Beverly Hills Fertility as the first member of Nucleus\u2019s IVF+ Network.
