A3021 road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"YkmxR FKZMr pqcPG MaBN2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-2fyuz2612\">The <strong style=\"font-weight:700\">Ramblers<\/strong>, a British walking charity, have condemned the decision. <\/p>\n<p class=\"YkmxR FKZMr pqcPG MaBN2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-9b8r93429\">Jack Cornish, the Ramblers\u2019 Director for England, stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"BpJjy\">\n<p> \u201cWe urgently need English Heritage to rethink its stance on this. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"BpJjy\">\n<p>&#8220;Instead of supporting the completion of this iconic coastal route, walkers\u2014including families with young kids \u2014 are being forced on to unpleasant and dangerous pavements beside busy roads, miles from the sea.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"YkmxR FKZMr pqcPG MaBN2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-55u0k6353\">He emphasised that the path should follow the coast, adding:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"BpJjy\">\n<p>&#8220;It is common sense: The King Charles III England Coast Path must follow the coast.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Security Concerns or Missed Opportunity?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/d5b2d7_57b35c291da441dab0b4b301e2b43196~mv2.png\" alt=\"ree\" style=\"width:100%;height:100%;object-fit:cover;object-position:50% 50%;max-width:100%\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.iwradio.co.uk\/news-post\/a-royal-row-king-charles-iii-england-coast-path-halted-at-osborne-house\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/d5b2d7_57b35c291da441dab0b4b301e2b43196~mv2.png\/v1\/fill\/w_924,h_528,al_c,lg_1,q_90\/d5b2d7_57b35c291da441dab0b4b301e2b43196~mv2.png\" draggable=\"false\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"YkmxR FKZMr pqcPG MaBN2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-6nyum2248\">According to The Ramblers group, English Heritage claims the coastal path would &#8220;negatively impact&#8221; its conservation work and pose a security risk to the 10,000 royal items on the estate. <\/p>\n<p class=\"YkmxR FKZMr pqcPG MaBN2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-6uf6o3747\">However, campaigners have pointed out that other high-profile heritage sites, such as Blenheim Palace and Balmoral Castle, successfully manage public paths without issue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"YkmxR FKZMr pqcPG MaBN2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-ex2pk4141\">The stretch of coastline at Osborne House is a crucial &#8220;last piece of the jigsaw&#8221; for the 2,700-mile long national trail, which aims to open up England&#8217;s entire coastline to public access. <\/p>\n<p class=\"YkmxR FKZMr pqcPG MaBN2\" dir=\"auto\" id=\"viewer-aijhy5601\">The Isle of Wight Ramblers&#8217;
