Broadcaster and comedian Sandi Toksvig has described the Duchess of Sussex\u2019s TV show as \u201ca great tribute to beige\u201d.<\/p>\n
Appearing on ITV<\/a>\u2019s Good Morning Britain<\/a> to promote her book and UK tour, Toksvig was asked about the Netflix show, With Love, Meghan<\/a>.<\/p>\n Toksvig said: \u201cOh gosh, I\u2019ve never watched it. Is it good? It looks like a great tribute to beige, which I think is nice.\u201d<\/p>\n GMB host Susanna Reid said that she finds it \u201cextraordinary\u201d that Meghan always \u201cwears white and cream in the kitchen\u201d, and never wears an apron to cook.<\/p>\n \u201cI bet she has no help with that whatsoever,\u201d Toksvig said.<\/p>\n Fellow GMB presenter Ed Balls added: \u201cShe sprinkles flowers on everything.\u201d<\/p>\n Describing her new live show, Toksvig said: \u201cI am passionate about live theatre, I am passionate about doing things that are not driven by AI.<\/p>\n \u201cDid you know that you are 30 times more likely to laugh when you\u2019re in the company of others?<\/p>\n \u201cI guarantee if you\u2019re feeling a bit miserable, you\u2019ll have at least one laugh. And I\u2019m going to try and sprinkle some flowers as well.\u201d<\/p>\n Toksvig, who presented The Great British Bake Off from 2017 to 2020, is touring the UK with her show Friends Of Dorothy this autumn, where she talks about her life, her novel of the same name, and answers questions from the audience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"With Love, Meghan.
