Aston Villa completed their summer transfer business<\/a> on Monday night.<\/p>\n Unai Emery hoped to make further additions in the final 24 hours of the window to end a challenging summer, and Monchi delivered by signing Victor Lindelof, Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott.<\/p>\n Lindelof joined on a free transfer, while Sancho and Elliott are both loans, though the latter will become a permanent Villa player for \u00a335 million next summer.<\/p>\n Zepiqueno Redmond was Villa’s first arrival as he joined on July 1 on a free transfer from Feyenoord, but left on loan to Huddersfield on deadline day.<\/p>\n Earlier this summer, Marco Bizot arrived as a replacement for Robin Olsen, who returned to his homeland to join Malm\u00f6 on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract.<\/p>\n Evann Guessand was the most recent addition before deadline day, signing from Nice in a deal worth up to \u00a330 million earlier this month.<\/p>\n Villa signed Modou K\u00e9ba Ciss\u00e9 from LASK for around \u00a34 million, but he is spending the season on loan with the Austrian team before linking up with the Villa squad next summer.<\/p>\n In terms of outgoings, Jacob Ramsey was the most high-profile, completing a \u00a339 million move to Newcastle United.<\/p>\n Leon Bailey also left, joining AS Roma on loan. The Italian club hold an option to sign him permanently for \u00a319 million next summer.<\/p>\n Enzo Barrenechea is expected to join Benfica permanently, with the Portuguese side obligated to buy him for \u20ac12 million after the loan, provided certain conditions are met. Villa have retained a sell-on clause.<\/p>\n Kaine Kesler-Hayden joined Coventry City in a deal worth around \u00a35 million.<\/p>\n The wages of Alex Moreno and Leander Dendoncker are also off the books, with both players departing on free transfers, to Girona and Real Oviedo respectively.<\/p>\n Philippe Coutinho is no longer with the club either, having completed a permanent move to Vasco da Gama earlier this summer.<\/p>\n Goalkeeper Filip Marschall left Villa permanently at the end of July to sign on for League One team Stevenage.<\/p>\n Kosta Nedeljkovic has returned to RB Leipzig on loan following a stint at the Bundesliga club last season.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, young defender Yasin Ozcan, who joined Emery\u2019s squad this summer, is currently on loan at Anderlecht. The Belgian side also hold an option to make the move permanent next summer.<\/p>\n Like Redmond, Samuel Iling-Junior also left on loan on deadline day, joining West Bromwich Albion for the season.<\/p>\n Additionally, Lewis Dobbin, Joe Gauci, Josh Feeney, Fin Munroe, Tommi O\u2019Reilly, Sil Swinkels, Kerr Smith, I-Lani Edwards, Sam Lewis, Louie Barry, Ewan Simpson and Oliwier Zych are all out on loan.<\/p>\n Eight of Villa’s first-team departures were either permanent sales or involved players who are not expected to have a future at the club, including Leon Bailey, Enzo Barrenechea, and Kosta Nedeljkovic.
