Two cars have been torched on a residential street in Edinburgh<\/a>.<\/p>\n Fire crews<\/a> were called to Niddrie Mill Crescent in the capital after the alarm was raised at around 4.05am on Wednesday.<\/p>\n Officers<\/a> received a report of two cars on fire and a third damaged as a result.<\/p>\n In an image shared with Edinburgh Live<\/a>, a Land Rover Evoque can be seen charred with three officers standing around it and the area cordoned off. No one was injured as a result of the fire.<\/p>\n At this time there the incident is not being linked to the Operation Portaledge investigation into gang related crime<\/a>, which has been sweeping across the central belt in recent months.<\/p>\n No one has yet been arrested and police<\/a> say their enquiries are ongoing.<\/p>\n A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 4.05am on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, we received a report of two cars on fire and a third damaged as a result on Niddrie Mill Crescent, Edinburgh.<\/p>\n \u201cThere were no reports of any injuries.
