A hit-and-run driver is being hunted by police after a pedestrian suffered serious injuries in Birmingham.<\/p>\n
She was struck by a car on Audley Road, Stechford<\/a>, this afternoon, Wednesday, September 3.<\/p>\n West Midlands Ambulance Service<\/a> said the woman was taken to the city’s QE hospital with potentially serious injuries.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Hunt for Birmingham A38 yobs who threw concrete slab at car windscreen injuring passenger<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n READ MORE: Boy, 14, stabbed in Solihull park as police respond to group of youths fighting<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n READ MORE: Son of mum killed in Smethwick collision says ‘I have lost my world’ in heartbreaking tribute<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Police said the driver left the scene of the incident.<\/p>\n No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing.<\/p>\n Officers are appealing for information.<\/p>\n A West Midlands Police<\/a> spokesman told BirminghamLive: “We were called to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Audley Road, Stechford, at around 1.45pm today, where the driver of the vehicle then left the scene.<\/p>\n “The pedestrian, a woman, was taken to hospital to be assessed for her injuries which are thankfully not believed to be life threatening or life changing.<\/p>\n “Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to get in touch with us.
