Christmas Day is fast approaching and families will already be thinking about securing their festive lunch plans. <\/a>Luckily, hotels across Liverpool are offer lavish multi-course lunches complete with champagne for everyone to enjoy.<\/p>\n Even though the big day is still four months away, menus for this year <\/a>are already open for early bookings. At some venues, children can dine for free while at others the price tag can jump to more than \u00a3100 for little ones.<\/p>\n For those planning a large celebration, certain top hotel restaurants<\/a> even offer family feasts priced at up to \u00a31,500. Here\u2019s a look at what some Liverpool hotels are charging for Christmas Day lunches <\/a>this year.<\/p>\n The Municipal Hotel<\/p>\n The Municipal’s Christmas Day lunch<\/a> is set in the hotel’s Seaforth Restaurant. The Christmas Day lunch includes six rounds from starters, a fish course and main to pre-dessert, desserts and coffee and mince pies to finish. The Christmas Day lunch is \u00a3210 for adults and \u00a3105 for children.<\/p>\n Some of the menu’s highlights <\/a>include lemon sole roulade, spinach and shrimp, dill butter sauce; Roast local turkey paupiette, pork & cranberry stuffing, confit potato, parsnip puree, pig in blankets, glazed carrots, shredded sprouts, poultry jus; and the winter spiced sticky toffee pudding, cinnamon ice cream, honeycomb.<\/p>\n The Municipal Hotel<\/a> also offers a Christmas Day family feast in the Weightman Suite “where warmth, togetherness, and luxury come together in perfect harmony”.<\/p>\n A table of 10 people costs \u00a31,500 and features generous platters of roast turkey with all the trimmings, honey-glazed vegetables and roast potatoes, brought to your table to enjoy together. There are also rich seasonal desserts, like classic Christmas pudding with brandy sauce or spiced winter fruit tarts, with a cheese station for your final course.<\/p>\n The Liner Hotel<\/p>\n The Liner Hotel provides table bookings between 12.30pm – 4pm. Guests will be treated to a glass of champagne on arrival and a three course Christmas Day lunch<\/a>, followed by tea, coffee, mince pies and chocolate truffles.<\/p>\n The menu includes asparagus and baby spinach soup and smoked salmon bruschetta for starts with prime roast sirloin of beef, roasted cod loin or festival vegetable wellington as your choice of mains.<\/p>\n The Liner Hotel’s Christmas Day lunch costs \u00a390 for adults and \u00a340 for children.<\/p>\n Double Tree by Hilton Hotel & Spa<\/p>\n Guests can enjoy unique decor and a magical festive experience at the Double Tree hotel. The luxury five course Christmas luncheon<\/a> is served in The Corinthian Grand, starting with a glass of champagne on arrival.<\/p>\n The menu includes a choice of chicken and duck liver p\u00e2t\u00e9 with red onion chutney or roasted beetroot and avocado salad. The soup is a roasted chestnut and parsnip with the main course a decision between roast turkey, honey glazed gammon, roast beef or vegan beef flank.<\/p>\n A number of desserts bring the luncheon to an end concluded by biscuits with tea and coffee. The five course experience is \u00a3139 for adults and \u00a369.50 for children.<\/p>\n The Shankly Hotel<\/p>\n Santa will be in attendance all of Christmas Day <\/a>while guests enjoy a three course dinner with live entertainment. Starters include roasted parsnip soup, friends camembert, chicken liver parfait or smoked trouser and celeriac remoulade.<\/p>\n For the main course, guests can choose between traditional turkey, homemade nut roast, slow braised ox cheek and pan seared hake.
