The original app was popular for a time but was eventually retired as the classic bugdroid design grew dated. After Google\u2019s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/google-android-new-bugdroid-logo-wordmark-3360879\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3D \u2018Bot\u2019 design<\/a> breathed new life into the Android mascot, fans wondered when they could create the same custom designs used by some Googlers. The new Androidify app lets you do just that, creating a fully personalized Bot from a single photo. Google gave me early access to try it out, and here\u2019s how it went.<\/p>\n<p>Before I show you my custom Bot, I recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/create-custom-android-bot-with-androidify-3593760\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reading my other article<\/a> covering the launch of Androidify. Since it already explains how to use the app and how it works under the hood, I\u2019m not going to rehash those details here. My skin tone, hair, shirt color, and badge are all reflected well in my Bot avatar. Sure, a few details aren\u2019t 100% accurate, like the shape of my glasses or the shirt logo, but it still captured my overall vibe. Plus, the result looked even better once I added a background.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s my Android Bot with the Jetsetter, Music Lover, Stargazer, and Fandroid backgrounds:<\/p>\n<p>My personal favorite is the Fandroid background, which I\u2019ll be using as my profile picture on social media for a while.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for being part of our community.
