It\u2019s been a real summer of turnover at Liverpool.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Indeed, there have been numerous high-profile arrivals at Anfield this summer.<\/p>\n

Alexander Isak joined Liverpool on deadline day<\/a> in a British-record deal, while Florian Wirtz also signed for the Reds earlier this summer.<\/p>\n

Milos Kerkez looks an exciting signing<\/a>, while Jeremie Frimpong impressed<\/a> before getting injured.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, there have also been high-profile outgoings as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luis Diaz, Jarell Quansah and Darwin Nunez all left the club.<\/p>\n

It is certainly a period of evolution at Liverpool<\/a>, and speaking on The Sports Agents Podcast, Troy Deeney has claimed that a big change could be on the horizon at Anfield.<\/p>\n

Deeney spoke about Liverpool and a potential tactical switch that could be on the horizon.<\/p>\n

Marc Guehi<\/a> didn\u2019t sign for Liverpool this summer, but he remains a target, and Deeney reckons the Reds could switch to a 5-3-2 formation and sell Mohamed Salah if Guehi were to join.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can see a situation, if they had got Marc Guehi, where they played 5-3-2 after this year, and maybe sell Salah, they\u2019ve brought two centre backs in, which would suggest that they want to play a three,\u201d Deeney said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got the full backs or wing backs in Frimpong and Kerkez, who are more attack minded. And then you\u2019ve got the midfield, which is based to have a 10, that\u2019s why they brought Wirtz in. And then you could have the two up front.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I think they are working towards that.\u201d<\/p>\n

What would Liverpool look like in a 5-3-2?<\/p>\n

Deeney raises an interesting idea here.<\/p>\n

With Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike both in the squad, a two-striker formation could work for Arne Slot, and, sadly, Mohamed Salah isn\u2019t getting any younger.<\/p>\n

The \u00a334m<\/a> man hasn\u2019t started this season brilliantly, and at the end of the season, it could be time to cash in on the Egyptian and evolve the squad further.<\/p>\n

Liverpool could field a very interesting line-up in a 5-3-2.<\/p>\n
