\n British Youth Music Theatre\u2019s production of \u2018The Naughty Carriage on the Orphan Train\u2019\u00a0is on track for Birmingham Hippodrome\u2019s Patrick Studio later this week.\n <\/p>\n
Featuring young performers from the West Midlands, the production\u00a0is a fresh revival of the recent BYMT classic with a cast of 39 performers from across the UK.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Based on the little-known true story of some 200,000 orphans taken from New York and placed aboard trains to be adopted by families across the United States,\u00a0The Naughty Carriage on the Orphan Train\u00a0shifts the focus to the children who were not chosen \u2013 those who became the Naughty Carriage, and who found their own paths to belonging.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Inspired by the experience of Looked After Children, the show was developed with young people with lived experience of the care system and those who find their place with non-traditional families.<\/p>\n

The Naughty Carriage on the Orphan Train\u00a0is at Birmingham Hippodrome\u00a0from Friday 25 April \u2013 Sunday 27 April\u00a0in the Patrick Studio.\u00a0<\/p>\n
