I could go today, I could go tomorrow.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Charles has been undergoing cancer treatment since January last year. <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/buckingham-palace\/index.html\" id=\"mol-c77a2760-88f2-11f0-afd3-355c101d47a9\" rel=\"noopener\">Buckingham Palace<\/a> has not confirmed what type of cancer he has, but it is understood not to be prostate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Matthew was with daughter Philippa Matthew, 52, younger sister Jessie Sharif, 60, and wife Elizabeth Shinda, 74.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The King questioned how long he had been there and asked: &#8216;Have they been giving you all the right treatment? That&#8217;s one of the priorities. Making me comfortable.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;The great thing I think is they&#8217;re getting better and better at dealing with these things. The trouble is there&#8217;s always hope down the road,&#8217; the King added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;I am sorry about that, it&#8217;s so frustrating. I used to fly it. Because I&#8217;d flown them in the Navy. I left the Navy in 1976 but I could still remember how to fly it. Midland Metropolitan University Hospital opened its doors on Sunday 6th October 2024 and is one of the biggest hospitals to open in England in the last decade.<\/p>\n<p Charles received a tour of religious buildings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">He attended the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri following the canonisation of Cardinal John Henry Newman and was met by the Archbishop of Birmingham and the Provost of the Birmingham Oratory, Father Ignatius Harrison, who guided him through the ornate nave.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The King, who was smartly dressed in a grey suit and a red patterned tie, was shown the Cardinal&#8217;s room, which has remained untouched since his death in 1890 and still contains Newman&#8217;s personal effects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The monarch&#8217;s tour, conducted by\u00a0Mr Daniel Joyce, curator of the Newman Museum, also took in the library, which is home to several historic stay at the Oratory until his death in 1890.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Later, in 2019, he was canonised at the Vatican, which King Charles attended as the Prince of Wales.
