{"id":395876,"date":"2025-09-04T00:22:13","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T00:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/395876\/"},"modified":"2025-09-04T00:22:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T00:22:13","slug":"israels-ambassador-to-france-mocks-gaza-bound-aid-flotilla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/395876\/","title":{"rendered":"Israel\u2019s ambassador to France mocks Gaza-bound aid flotilla"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ISTANBUL\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Israel&#8217;s Ambassador to France, Joshua Zarka, sarcastically wished a Gaza-bound flotilla good luck in staying alive Tuesday during an interview with Radio J.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I wish them good luck in any case in managing to stay alive,&#8221; said Zarka.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the flotilla would first have to reach its destination, citing their forced return because of bad weather and questioned if it would &#8220;even arrive.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This flotilla, frankly, it\u2019s just another kind of media stunt for third-rate politicians who have nothing else to do and who feel they\u2019re not getting enough attention in the national or international media,&#8221; he noted.<\/p>\n<p>Zarka described it as &#8220;a pleasure cruise,&#8221; providing &#8220;a bit of media presence.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A response from Thomas Portes, a member of the left-wing La France Insoumise party, was swift and suggested that Zarka be expelled from France.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The \u2018ambassador\u2019 of the genocide, Joshua Zarka, threatens the flotilla participants on Radio J. France must expel him and shut down the \u2018embassy,\u2019 which is a branch of the Israeli terrorist government.
