{"id":395894,"date":"2025-09-04T00:32:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T00:32:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/395894\/"},"modified":"2025-09-04T00:32:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T00:32:11","slug":"yellow-weather-warning-in-force-as-heavy-rain-hits-england-and-wales-the-latest-national-and-international-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/395894\/","title":{"rendered":"Yellow weather warning in force as heavy rain hits England and Wales | The latest National and International News"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A yellow weather warning for heavy rain and strong winds has come into force across south-west England and much of South Wales, running from midnight until 2pm on Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p>The Met Office warned the conditions may cause flooding and travel disruption.<\/p>\n<p>The warning area was expanded early Tuesday to include parts of south-east England. <\/p>\n<p>Rebekah Hicks, chief meteorologist at the Met Office, said: &#8220;We&#8217;re expecting a band of heavy rain and strong winds to move north-east through the first part of Wednesday, followed by heavy showers and the risk of thunderstorms.
