Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 is set to return to Liverpool this month. The ocean liner will make a two night stay in the city<\/a> as part of its 12-night British Isles cruise. The voyage is planned to depart from Southampton on September 14.<\/p>\n Before arriving in Liverpool, she will spend a day at sea, visit Cobh in Ireland where passengers will be able to disembark and visit the charming seaside town<\/a> of Cork, and then spend another day at sea. Queen Mary 2<\/a> (QM2) will arrive in the city in the evening of Wednesday, September 17 which is the fourth day of the cruise.<\/p>\n The ship will remain in the city until Friday, September 19.<\/p>\n On the cruise’s itinerary, Cunard describes Liverpool as its “spiritual home”. It states: “Liverpool, Cunard’s spiritual home, is a unique city in the north of England. It’s energetic and modern, but at the same time has an unmistakable taste of the 60s.”<\/p>\n After departing the city, QM2 will spend a day at sea before visiting Oban in Scotland. After an overnight stay, she will visit the Isle of Mull, Invergordon and then South Queensferry for Edinburgh.<\/p>\n She will then arrive back in Southampton on Friday, September 26 where passengers will finish their cruise.<\/p>\n Cunard’s QM2 celebrated its 400th transatlantic crossing with a visit to Liverpool in September 2024.
